Today I read in the FAQ about the DSR system in Mylot that I always missed.
What's DSR?
It stands for Discussion Rating System (DRS)and allows users to rate discussions positive or negative
It is useful to have a keep a better quality of Mylot discussions members.
The DRS is used for the earnings algorithm, so It will help the mylot staff to value well comments.
How to use it?
well when you open a the discussion, then if you find it interesting click on the (+) or if it is negative you click on (-) if it violates the Mylot guidlines then click on the (!)
So what do you think? Do you use It? From now and on I'll use it always for the benefit of the community.

I tend to use to system to rate a good discussion or response positively, but only use the negative in extreme cases.
The same thing applies with the "Best Response" system, where too many members do not bother to give due credit to the responders that make a real effort.
Mylot is still in the developing stage as far as the membership is concerned, so I envisage an improvement in this area as members become more familiar with the system in general.
