How old were you when you stopped believing in Santa Claus, and if you have children do they still believe in Santa?

Well,I stopped believing in Santa Claus at 8-9 years, but I was everywhen suspecting my parents that they are doing something misterious.I remember that I was going out to the living room, where the Christmas tree was placed,to give the time my parents needed to put under the Christmas tree the the gifts! But I still believe in the spirit of Christmas,in the Santa Claus that exists in our souls.

My parents helped the process out by telling us that Santa didn't visit children over ten. So we always knew that Santa would stop coming. And by the time you get to ten, you don't believe in him anyway. Us older kids maintained the tradition for the little ones though. We never ever said we didn't believe in Santa, only that he stopped coming after you were ten!

I was about 7 when I stopped believing in him. Maybe 6. I have never really put a lot into Santa, as I really don't think he has much to do with Christmas. It's the Lord's birthday, and I rather celebrate that mostly. I did not raise children to believe in him, only God.

i can always remember being a little sus as my parents used to tell me that santa would send them a bill and so i needed to not ask for too many things. i suppose i was like 6 when i decided it was definatly not real. i certainly beleive in the spirit of xmas though.
