Do you believe in Capital Punishment?

I know this is a controversial subject, but Many people feel very strongly about it. Is it right for somebody to murder another and just get life in prison? If it can be proven "without a doubt" that the person committed murder, shouldn't they die as well. What are you opinions on the subject and why?
