EDUCATION - your biggest asset

If you mean formal education then I feel it is immportant but not nesscary for everyone. I think college for example is very helpful to get good jobs and to learn new things. However it depends on what you want to do with your life. If you want to be a hair dresser you do not need college you need a trade school. You can have a great job that you love without college. I would encourage it to my children but personaly I have done well in my career without it. Possibly my spelling could be better but I am happy. Happiness far out weighs education so it is all about what makes you happy now and throughout your life.

Education is a long drawn process. One should keep learning throughout one's life - be it formal or informal. If you have money, someone may steal it. If you have knowledge, no body can steal it. Education makes the man perefect or atleast leads towards perfection.

Absolutely, helps you to realise your dreams. its an ongoing process. Education can mean college degree, schooling,anything that helps you to do something.

It is great to have education, with out it, it is hard to function in every day society. Now a days almost every job requires at least high school diploma or Ged.

oh yes for sure... I think we all need a basic education ... I don't know if its my greatest asset but its certainly something I need to get through life..

If you use it. I know of a few people who qualified as doctors or engineers that are in totally different fields. What a waste....

well. i really dont think that education is something that has to be given away in schools and colleges to "the elite" only those of whom can pour out some "elite" money. i belive in the old methods of teaching in which (in india), masters chose their disciples and knowledge was imparted to them. but they did not learn any useless physics or chemistry that has got no relevence to their future. today all one knows is physics,chemistry and mathematics. i believe that education should mean the overall development of an individual. i hope that u guys agree with me....

i dont agree with it.Education is to improve your knowledge and grasp things through various area in the education.Before the era of education people were not educated they learnt through thier experience of thier work.That is how the devolped books and teachings that is called as education nowadays.Education can help for a man to qulaify for applying the job .

Yes i agreed...education makes us a worthy living ....if we r lack of both formal n informal education, we may face many obstacle in life....its again a gradual process....over the years we can acquire it.
