So how do you define what is "CRAP" that people write on here, and what is "quality"? I am just confused, what is so inappropriate that i read plenty of messages from people becoming frusterated with what people post for discussions! There is nothing in their messages that really back up what is "CRAP" and what is not. All I know is that I am here to make money and I wont write crap, I write to make money and figure out what it is that i am doing on this webpage.

To each his/her own. Some people are looking for questions that they are interseted in and if they don't like it they think its junk.

There are people here who will respond just to post but then there are others who will respond and give you an opportunity to have meaning dialogue you just have to wait for them to post :)

I just joined and honestly, I find that when I read interesting questions, it makes me think and I spend more time than I had thought I had wanted to answering the question. So I think that even if you start out writing CRAP, you end up writing something at least remotely thoughtful. It's a good way to destress but also exercise your brain... Or at least try to.

so i can relate to wat ur saying...but the "CRAP" im talkin bout is stuff lik..."wats ur eye color?"
These sorta topics are NOT discussion-oriented, meaningless, and of no use watsoever to US, or Mylot!

Mylot defines what is quality, but are not spelling out exactly what it is.
Mylot also asks people to do a search for a topic before posting it, to see if the question has been asked before. What I would consider 'crap' is more than 100 people posting 'do you like Coke or Pepsi' when they know it's already been asked a zillion times.
If Mylot turns into a silly chat room where people give one-word answers, it will go out of business and none of us will make money.

Yes, I agree with you and I wouldn't bother responding to a post which I thought was rediculous. I am retired and I don't get out very much. When a friend introduced me to mylot, I had a look at the site and decided to sign up. I really couldn't be bothered with the small amounts paid out for postings, but any small amount which I might receive will go straight into the charity box.

every one in here wants to make money but some people wants to do it the easiest way they can...
i had a topic earlier tittled "can you hit your father" and there was this guy, who just copy and paste an article about something which is not even part of the topic. his response was so long that he almost took one page of it. it was annoying to see that thing that he just really want to have lot of words to be paste on his comment but there was really nothing meaningful written.
and again just this afternoon, after i post a comment on a certain topic named "site for beautiful people only", a couple of minutes later, a certain person copied the exact same thing i wrote down!!! it was totally annoying seeing that some people don't have a brain of their own and just copying and pasting things that are not their own.... all of us here wanna earn but we to earn it on a civil way...

depends on the interpretation and meaning you attached...the other person may post a crap for you but not crap according to his response..or maybe you have different life experiences.

I think that everyone should take a deep breath and relax...everyone has different likes, dislikes, levels of intelligence, education etc....so what might be crap to one could be very enjoyable to another....so, if you don't like someones discussion, don't participate...I do agree that the yes and no answers are inappropriate and some stuff is CRAP...so I ignore it and will go on to something that tickles my fancy...have a great day and everybody......SMILE

Thats a pretty relative term, especially in this context...Crap can be this for someone, while someothers say this a whole lot new idea...!Some welcome this post, while others don't....Its also quite tough to just like that say something is crap,or i am not her to write crap...U neva know wat is wat??

I define crap as when people respond back with one word answers. And these kind of questions for example DO YOU LIKE the color green?

see, when people' intension of making money is reflected in their posts, then that particular post is crap
and yes remember, that if you write a lot of crap then mylot will pause your account
this happened with one of my friends

Isn't everything 'relative'?
So, what's crap to someone may be not be to someone else.
