My baby is teething, 5 months, and I have tried everything I know to soothe her. Anyone know any other tricks that might help? My first one didn't have this much trouble with teeth, they just came right on in, at 5 months I think she was working on her 4th one.

I used the freezer pops with mine. The ones that you have to freeze yourself. You can give it to them without opening it and they can just chew on it, or open them and they can eat it. At 5 months you will probably have to help her, but I thought they helped me out the most.

Yes I think the popsicles worked best too. They took thier mind off it if nothing else.

My first didn't have any trouble at all, either. When my second was whiny with new teeth I would give her a cold ring to chew on and maybe put a little Anbesol on her gums. She seems to get some relief after I did that.

have you tried teething tablets? I have never used them but heard that they work really well. I usually use a really cold washcloth or teether.

In India we usually give homeopathic medcine calcaria phos 6x only one tablet daily for so young. It eases out the teething. My baby is also teething to soothe her itching i give her carrots skined and washed thoroughly but never leave the kid alone while chewing on it.It helps in itching.

I used different things. To name a few; I used Anbesol, Tylenol, teething rings, I wrapped gauze around my finger and rubbed their gums and I cut a piece of a cold apple and wrapped it in a wet washcloth to help them cope.
