Once u get addicted to it then you vill come to know that how tough it is to quit smoking. I myself was a chain smoker for almost 6 -7 yrs but now i have quit smokes. Its almost 2-3 months that i have quit and i really feel good about it. Please stop smoking.

I think it is admirable that you have quit. I quit 10 years ago and it was a really hard thing to do. I have since been made aware that ex-smokers are the WORST critic of the smoker. Please don't become one of those who tries to push your view on others. They will come around in their own time. Of course, I would if it was someone who I thought would listen, like my children, (who are the reason I quit) or my parents and especially if they have bad health to begin with.

I think people are aware of smoking issues, the addiction, the health issues, certainly the bad breath issues and the yellow teeth issues.....lol....they just make the choice to do it for whatever reason. Unfortunately nicotine is addictive, first chemically, then mentally. I was told, by an RN that the chemical addiction will leave your body in 3 days of not smoking, but the mental addiction is what usually brings people back to it. It's just something you get used to.

i don't agree with this that its difficult to quit smoking but yeah if ur a regular heavy smoker then just try to reduce ur quantity ..don't try to quit in a single day ...its just like when we got habitual of anything then its really become hard to get away with that thing in a single day...so first reduce ur smoking quantity and then in a few days time u can easily quit it ...it all depends on the will power of a person !!
