But, I can't!! GaH! Sometimes, I log into Mylot thinking I'll just start posting like crazy! But I get here, and blah. There's just no motivation.
Some people can post anything to anything, but they're not good posts! They post random BS that makes no sense just to make money!
For me? If I can't post a GOOD reply, I just won't post. But that's aggrivating!
I look down at the bottom of the page and see the "Top Users" and it's someone who goes around posting "yes" or "no" to discussions that DO NOT NEED A YES OR NO ANSWER%$#^%#$@^
So wtf. I'm frustrated. ;/

Ambur, Ambur. Don't get so frustrated. Believe me, it's not worth it. Just try to focus on the discussions you are interested in, because no matter what people are going to post what they want, even if it is "yes" "no".
Keep posting the topics you like because they are very good and you will get responses from me. I think the you get better $ if more poeple respond to your discussions.
Don't sweat it. Just have fun.

$1.2 in two days? thats good. We should have high quality discussions and some active referral if we wish to get more faster.

Yeah, lame/bizarre threads are becoming the norm. I often go to 'discussions with no responses' to give some of those 'orphan' discussions some comments, and have to scroll through 10 screens before I find something I want to answer. And some of the 'discussions' are just news articles pasted from Web sites.

Yeah, I have been coming back for the part 5 days (I'm new) and wondering how in hell do people manage to type 100 replies in a day...
I can only manage a good 25 max, even then its tough. I've started only 3 discussions and have had little response. Please go have a look at them, if you get a chance.

i see your point. there are lots of foolish questions here, huh? but i try to reply to questions i can answer in all honesty. something to do with my interestests and something to do with love and life. atleast, i get to share my thoughts and emotions. i don't care about people here who posts whatever stupid questions they have on mind. i just go and look for senseful posts.

I'm losing my ability to be polite with these people. Some of them butchered a thread of mine and I was too nice about telling them. I seem to spend more time reporting cheaters than reading/posting to quality discussions.
I've been tempted to give up and join the spammers by wildly postinging to any inane garbage I find but ccan't bring myself to do it.
The worst part is is that good topics get few responses because the flood of crap buries them so they can hardly be found.

Very true. I say ignore the spammers and stick to good discussions. The thing you can do is add people who post good discussions to your friends, and stick to those people. That's what I've been doing when I can't find a good discussion to post to =)

I came on here last night wanting to totally up my post count, but so many of the threads were just incredibly lame I couldnt even get myself to comment on them. I cant even tell you how many of the same ones Ive answered. I too get tired of simple yes or no answers, or the I DUNNO answer it is annoying. I hope those dont count as answers. I have to hold myself back from alot of posts because I have the urge to say something rude. I want to call people out on their threads.

alot of us here are going thru exactly the same thin...
n indeed it is very very frustrating. But we're tryin to do some DAMAGE control here...we're tryin to form a BASE of genuine people, for obvious reasons...but more than anything, so that we can stand up together...AGAINST THEM!
visit my discussion page "KEEP-IT-REAL" for details...

I agree with you all. Even though I am interested in the money making apect of mylot I also want a disscussion with some relevance. I am with my kids most of the day so I jump at the chance of conversing with adults. I just saw a good discussion and someone posted something that looked like something they copied and pasted from a news website. Or I often see discussions like what is your favorite color. WHO REALLY CARES!!! This is really frustrating but I still have faith in mylot and it's members. HAPPY POSTING!

i agree with you completly. I don't post if i don't think it's going to be a worthy post. Granted not all of my are amazing but they all have some topic to them. I will rate users responses negatively to encourage people not to do that. People who do post me with substance i'll rate negatively. I hope that should try and filter out some of the cheaters.

As you said there are some posts made just for making money as ther it is in all the cases. But if you find some good discussions then thy are information giver. Some are interesting. Also we have some discussions on jokes which are also good.So ther are many things for motivation.

I totally know what you mean
There are people here who will respond just to post but then there are others who will respond and give you an opportunity to have meaning dialogue you just have to wait for them to post :)

I believe they should have a monitor or moderator actually go through the posts and weed out the ones that make no sense or are a waste of time. I dont know if they do this or not but it would be helpfull. A better catagory system would be nice and or even a search feature that worked better would help me out. But then again has anyone ever seen a payment from mylot? I remember there use to be a business called all advantage or something like that name that would put a advertizement bar on your screen while you were online and you would get points for being online actively, they actually got sued a few times because they didnt pay out.

Usually I feel the same way as you. There are days that I can post up to a 100, but there are days that I stop at 10. I think it depends on my mood. Mylot.com serves more as a entertainment, than as a earning machine. Don't bother about other people, those yes/no answers people might be banned soon for all we know. :)

I'm a newbie - I kicked off yesterday and already I can see the frustration from this kind of thing. Still, I'm giving it a chance and only responding where I feel I can make a genuine input. Only time will tell if it's worth my while. Still waiting for that earnings thing to update.
