hi, i'm from germany and love to play "skat". do you know what it is and how to play? i would like to make some matches with foreign people.

I have only read about this game in books. Weren't the soldiers of Remarque ("Im Westen nichts neues" usw.) playing skat? And once I have seen old skat cards, there were different suits.

i do not know this film, but i think...every soldiers plays skat*smile.
in germany ...in altenburg..there is a skat museum. there are many old cars for seeing...but not playing with.

I have heard of it, but don't recall how to play. Could you please refresh my memory....what is the basis of the game? Is there anywhere to play online?

you play this game with 32 cards normally 3 persons.
the main-player tries to get more than 60 points and the other two try to beat him. skat is not an easy game, but absoletely interesting and for me very exciting.
you find some skat-games online. if you want to know what is the best one...pls contact me*smile.
