how to keep your kids busy??

Hi all what are ways you keep your 3 yrs old boy busy and games you play? And quick meals? But it has to be in the house stuff because I have a newborn baby and still not able to drive or leave the apartment. Any ideas??

How about coloring books, puzzles. You can play eye spy, any little board games ie. candy land, hi ho cherry O. Easy meals: Chili, Spagetti, something you can throw in the crock pot, soups, roasts.

coloring, painting...i suggest make meals and place them in the freezer for fridge..do it the night before, like pb&j or something...i used to leave disney channel or cartoon network on, even though if he wasn't watching it all the time. my son also had pleanty of toys and i would build blocks and play cars with him. simple things like that.
