Wht is this belief ... how is it made ... and how is it remainin thr?? S: hmmmmmm ....me notes D: when things are really going bad for me or for someone dear to me,...and then suddenly things brighten up, whom do i feel thankful to?....socho socho... D: i dont go to temples....atleast not of my own free will.... D: but when i go and hear the stories, it feels nice....like reading a book.... D: and wots wrong with feeling nice inside and enjoying reading a book? S: wait ... wait .. atleast let me react D: ok S: abt 1st line .... personal set of thots....... EXACTLY .. wht I wanted to hear... But its better to call that specific feelin as "Faith" ..... S: Now wht am about to tell U is my own views .. ok .... just listen em thru .. ok D: ok S: When we ask a ques .. tht Y we wanna hav a faith??... S: Y not continue like animals .... Y not just live our lives .... and get it done with ..... S: 1st reason cud be tht ... S: We Humans r vry vry curious .. the moment we started understandin things .... that very moment we started attributing events to causes .... we cud not rest with unknown/unxplained thing .... so the only answer was to create 1!!! D: xactly! S: so I beliv .. tht we created GOD ...[plz dont think I'm an atheist ... cos I'm not] S: ...as an answer to this all!! D: and wots more safer than SOME UNSEEN ALL POWERFUL BEING? S: lemme proceed to the next point D: ....so thus was created GOD! D: as a woman, as a man, as a tree, as a plant, as an animal,bird, D: u name it, he is there! S: yea ... ur gettin it now!!;) D: evrywhere coming out of pillars, as a snake, as a bird...etc D: am not GETTING IT...these have been my views S: wait S: wait D: ok S: hear me thru, ok S: Ok ... I'll come back to ur point .. lemme just complete my 2nd point .. ok[roger this] D: ...... S: 2nd point ... wht I felt is ....... S: We Humans R hopelessly 'Social' ... perhaps like most other animals S: we can't bear to be alone ... even when we'r thinkin S: we alweyz feel satisfied ... or pleased ....to hav a feelin of company ... at all times .... we wanna feel tht we'r being looked aftr .. tht we'r nvr evr alone S: Not only this gives a good feelin of security .. But also gives us a confidence in wht we do .... Most of the time .. we attribute the fruits of this confidence as God's answer's to our prayers S: Know this... A spring can jump higher only when its pressed .... S: Similarly ... Man can perform better only under most adverse conditions .... S: he has to have boundaries .. to be able to hav a dream of crossin them .... S: He has to have Ideals ... to be able to hav a scale for his life .. and hope to reach them S: He has to have Ideals ... to be able to hav a scale for his life .. and hope to reach them D: .... S: he just cant survive in a rule-less world ... he HAS 2 hav rules ..... But then amongst 2 men ... how can they trust each othr to be an impartial rule-maker S: so God steps in S: and he creates the rules ... and both men acept it .... S: even tho .... Both mite kno tht .. without God .. and the rule .. neithr can survive the other!! S: If U bring all wht I said above ... togethr .. wht U get is ........ D: ..... S: 'Religion'!! S: Ppl start acceptin these rules... and flourshin ... so they like to stay in the group of ppl who follow ths rules ... thus frm simple residential circles .. .we get Communities .... leading to Cultures S: Obviously .... we hav the case of the '2 men' all across the world ..... Now all cannot get ended up with the same set of rules ... S: so the earth ended up with diff religions ... diff cultures ... diff beilefs ..... i.e. ... diff Gods!! S: But perhaps we forgot our own basic instinct D: hmmm S: the instinct to get the cause 4 evry event S: we 4got tht ...... the very cause 4 the creation of God .. wz the same .. evrywhr S: We oursleves were the cause .. We,.... our Instincts, our Human Tendencies S: GOD .. the word is just a manifestation of man's attempt 2 find peace within the battles of his own mind D::) S: .... Just like a baby is pacified by a toy ... S: Man gets pacified by God ... he's relived of higher responsibilites .. he's content with himself S: Personally ...4 me ... Faith is evrything .... S: Whn U beliv in somethin ... keep ur unbroken,unrelentin Faith .. U start livin by it ... every moment .. every thought . ...every action.. S: and It starts 'Livin' by U ... Living becos of u ... S: and It starts 'Livin' by U ... Living becos of u ... S: It becomes ur GOD ... S: It becoms a pedestal 4 U to return ..... whn ur sad .. cos U kno it listens to u... cos U hav faith in it ... S: whn ur happy S: whn ur angry S: whn ur lonely ... sad ... its there for u ... cos u have faith in it ... S: So U start Loving it ... so much tht U feel tht aftr ur life ... U shud return to it .. as a final offerin to ur faith.. S: So .... if I may be allowed to conclude ...No man .. can be true atheist .. cos then he'd be without faith S: thrs no point in living a life ... without faith .. without hope... S: Atheists are not people who do not belive in god .. They are people who do not believe in the 'popular notion' of god. S: Atheists just dont like takin stuff 4 granted ... But U kno tht they too hav faith .. in themsleves .. in their learnin ... in their past experineces .. and their beliefs ... i.e. their faith ... i.e. their GOD D:[claps]:) S: like I said ... the above might b completly crap of my imagination ....
