Well my husband and I met through a friend, they invited us on a blind date, and I have never been on a blind date before, so I went and if you have ever heard love at first site, that is what it was with us.

I met my girlfriend at a park!
I was there with my friends because we all were playing Ultimate Frisbee.
I was there early with one other friend and we had our eyes on these two girls rollerblading.
We basically chased them down, and I got her number.
We've been together 2-3 years now.

I hope you have good luck with this topic, it did not get many responses when I asked a similar questionl I met my husband through a newspaper called "Introducing Country Singles" You used to find them at post offices, truck stops and rest areas. He drove 6 hours one way to meet me after we talked on the phone once or twice. We have been married eight years.

my fiance and I met online...we've been together for almost 7 years now and Im incredibly happy :]...well for the most part LOL he is being a butthead right now!
