So what do you think of the Irish?
Mostly we think of ourselves as having a fairly good reputation around the world, if a little fond of alcohol which is true. So what do you REALLY think of our small nation. And if you have ever visited the land of Saints and Scholars, do you think it is a pleasant place? Do you think we drink to excess? Well we do, but do you notice this?

Well I'd really like to visit Ireland. I'm from Irish descent and would love to have the chance to look up some geneology over there. Finding the records from here in the states isn't always easy. Seems the family was fond of exaggerating, changing facts, and their names. Makes it hard to determine who is who but we are working on it.

I have never been there but, it looks like it's a beautiful place. I have heard about the excess drinking but, I don't really have anything to say about it. I love Irish accents though.

LOL, many Irish-Americans I know do, but I think they just do it because they have the excuse "Hey, I'm Irish!". Besides the accents, I love Irish instrumental music, the flutes and horns. So beautiful.
