Infant kidnapped for failed payment to human smugglers

I was just reading on AOL news about human smugglers kidnapping a baby because the parents failed to pay them. What punishment do you think they should get when apprehended? I hope they are found soon as the baby has been missing since December 1. That is really messed up. I hope they find the baby soon! That has to be very hard on the parents. I can't even imagine.
