BPO is short for Business Process Outsourcing. Many companies outsource many of their work to other companies, so that they can. 1. Reduce cost 2. Concentrate on their core area of work. Most companies prefer to outsource Customer Support as it takes a lot of time and energy to keep it running at its best. But these days, even middle level management, backend operations and recrutement are outsourced as outsourcing to India and other developing countries results in reduced cost.

Americans will say yes, but then if they could do the same quality work for the same prices at home, there would be no problem. My company outsources many aspects to countries like India and Malaysia. The quality of work is sufficient, and why shouldn't we share the wealth? In this worth, 5% of the people have 95% of the wealth.. it's time to share with everyone. Being born in a poor country shouldn't excuse you from a good life...

which company are you working for, and what type of jobs do you outsource? is it tech or non-tech work?
