teaching to someone else certainly helps
in learning a new topic & retaining a old
topic . the interesting point is if none
available to listen then teach to a pet / a chair ... we use this technique in
public speaking coaching . first we speak
to our own image in the mirror , then to
imaginary audience & finally on the stage ...

This doesn't work, the original idea behind it was suppose to run off the idea of sublinal messaging, but thats been disproven by science so doing this will only mess with your dreams a bit. Although it would be interesting to see how your mind would manifest someone speaking another language in your dreams... Who knows you might cause a midlife crisis cause oyu think god is talking to you in your sleep and he speaks French, and you don't know French hehe

Thanks for the information. It is better to stick to more traditional methods of learning.
I can share with you a technique to help you learn anything better and grasp it more firmly. This technique is called "teach technique" and its not related to subliminal messaging.. belive me.
You can learn better by teaching what you have learn to somebody else. If you teach the subject to others you are repeating what you have learnt which can be helpful in remembering. You can read in detail by visiting:

from wikipedia :
Sleep-learning (also known as hypnopædia)
attempts to convey information to a
sleeping person, typically by playing
a sound recording to them while they
sleep.
This technique is often moderately
effective at making people remember
direct passages or facts, word for
word . However, there is little to
no evidence that a person undergoing
hypnopædia is actually learning anything
in the sense that the newly acquired
knowledge is connected to other
knowledge or conceptualized in any way.
