If you were Head of Selection Team of India for Cricket ?

For me Ganguly shold be the captain & Greg should be sacked

there r lots of things to be done. basically the problem is we r not gettin any good new players .so first of all our basic ground level needs to be strengthened so i would make sure tht the quality of cricket in domestic level improves. only give chance to players who perform consistently,not to players who score in one match n sit silently for the next ten. have a variable pay, where players get bonus on playin well. give chance to new talent n rotate the squad so tht no one takes is place for granted.

firstly i would select players according to merits and not on region. i feel there are few players who are there just because of quota and also srop players when they dnt perform and tell them to play domestic cricket and gain form to make a come back. this will automatically increase the status of local crickt and this is very important for the indian cricket to develop adn i would also try to make pitcehs which are fast and bouncy because to perform in foreign soil our players should play on these kind of pitches

if i was to become the head of selection team of india for cricket my squad would include all youngsters and no so called experienced people, because the experienced ones do not perform at all. they think that the team cannot do without them. youngsters would be under pressure and they would perform well.

i wud kick virendra sehwag out of the team that wud be the best relief for our team...and i will bring back ganguly as a captain ...hopefully he will perform well as a captain ..i dont care whether he makes run or not atleast he managed to make others perform in the past under his captaincy

If I was head of Indian seelction committee, I will bring back Ganguly as captain and John Wright as coach. Good results will natually come back.:)

if i was the coach i would surely bring ganguly back as things at the moment is not looking good for the indians...i think ganguly should be given another chance to prove himself...and i would put him as the captain as india has won most of their matches under him and he has the experience...i think things would be better afterwards

First of all i will try to improve the confidence level of the present players and give a chance if they still perform in the same manner then i will replace them

first of all i will select a pool of 30 players. and give them a contract for one yr .. so that in that poool. i have the back up players of every position from openers till end.... India have to win then they have to stick with one team . and give every player a proper chance and a proper slot.. Shifting the battting order un necessarily . damages them

First of all I will stop blaming the team for bad performance in current SA matches.I will encourage the team India for further matches.Team India has proven itself initially.I will try to build confidence in the players.Also the team will be selected based on the form of the players and not based on only past experience.Also there will be no politics while selecting the team.I think this is what required for team India now.
