I do not know whether having more friends increases your earnings, but it is a good way to meet new people who share your interests, so in a way, that is an 'earning' in my opinion~ :)

You can make an agreement with your friends to allways post in each others topics. This does no harm and is a great way to get some attention on your posts.

It can have something if u have a member in ur buddy list like me!!!!! I always response to the dicussions of my buddy list members. I sent the request of friend only to thrice of people but have 100+ people in my buddy list. People send me requests and i accept. I prefer to response to my buddy list member and seldom response to others.

You can know that the answers you give will get credited and you can be sure to find good questions to answer. It is a place to develop good rapport and help each other like you and I do.

well,it doesn't help your earnings unless they reply to your discussions. Keep replying to others

For me, having more friends helps me answer more discussions. I have about 90 friends (as of this writing) and all of them are set to notify: on. This means that whenever any of my friends starts a discussion I get an email with the text of the discussion and a direct link to respond. It's much easier to me to do it this way than to try to wade through the thousands of posts on this site! Of course, sometimes this system doesn't work very well. I didn't get a single notification today. I think MyLot is having some problems with notifying.

well there are a few reason I can think of..One..I have met so many wonderful people that have become my friends that in itself is one reason I would stay on mylot even if there was no money involved,2. I know that my friends will at least give my threads a looksie and I therefore will have a better chance of people answering my threads, yay for me..3.Its easier for me to find interesting topics to post on having friends..because most..not all but most of them all have very interesting posts and I dont have toi search for good threads..Take care!

well, having friends will ensure for one that all your discussions have responses and it will not falls into 'discussions with 0 response'. i have made a lot of very nice friends in myLot that when i have a discussion about going jobless, the responses that came in was overwhelming..and i got my strength from there to be strong! i have some very sweet friends who kept sending me private messages to see how i'm doing and all that! having them was the best! :D

HHMMM.. well i think the more friends the merrier i think it's something like you are surrounded by a network of friends which most probably will check back on you. On the other hand.. alot of ppl just want to add the hunks and pretty girls when they have found one :D hahaha i think that's quite comman.. don't you think so? ^^;

Adding friends is a fantastic thing. I have learned that with my friends we respond to each others discussions therefore helping each others earnings. Therefore, in a way it does help your earnings. Not directly, but in the long run. Plus, you get to meet very interesting and sometimes fun people.
