It seems to me it would be homeless and naked. Why?

Difficult and tricky question? But I think this way. People are artificially dressed. But animals are naturally dressed with fur, feathers and thick hide which is enough to protect its body. Like humans the Bull does not need shoes. He has them naturally. So the Turtle is dressed with the shell.
On the other hand animals have their own mode of shelter. A rabbit will run into a burrow for protection. The horse will walk into the stable. The bird will fly into a nest. The Turtle will hide in his shell. So the shell is also his home.
So I think a Turtle without the shell is both naked and homeless.
