Do you think your children grow up to be like you because of habit or because...

Do your children retain the habits that you have after growing up? Do you think they only choose which ways to be? Is there a way for children to keep your good traits and not the bad? I am wondering if we as children learn our own ways or just merely take those habits we see our guardians do and assume them as our own.

thats a good question, i think that sometimes yes children grow up like us because of habit, but then again you try to teach them to be thier own person and not to take after you and your habits. so i think that some things can be changed but alot are just out of habit of being around it all the time.
