How do you REBUILD Trust?

I think to rebuild there has to be completely open communication ...you have to really love the person (friend,significant other, spouse, family member) and you have to be an example of trust and apply the rule of "do unto others as you would have done to you" ... & you have to get rid of the "baggage" ... any other thoughts out there?

The other person have to accept first that they did wrong and acknowledge the wrong doing sincerely. After that open and honest communication combined with a lot of time might do the trick

To rebuild trust, the first thing is to get the confidence of the other side. One you are believed or you can make the other person believe in you, then you can rebuild the trust.
