To circumcise or not to circumcise???

We had our son circumsized when he was a week old. I think we just did it because my husband was circumsized and pretty much every parent I've known of a boy had it done. I don't think it really matters either way, I think it's just a personal preference. However, I couldn't take him... my mom took him for me, because I just couldn't stand the thought of my baby boy in pain. :(

My son is not circumcised. I personally could not get myself to put him through so much pain

I will not be having any boys I have, circumcised. I just don't agree with it. It is unnecessary, and in my opinion, its child abuse. Its no different than the female genital mutilation that happens in other cultures. People only circumcise their children for cosmetic purposes. (Or religious purposes, but even then, there's no point to it other than the tradition).
