What if a husband runs away when wife is pregnant?

There could be lots of reasons, he's a jerk who won't accept his responsiblity, he's scared, he's not a REAL man...many men do this on a regular basis. Its not uncommon for it to happen. What do you mean by the last part of your statement? You dont think a woman could run away from her husband if she is pregnant? Because Ive also seen that happen. Could you please clarify that last part?

My husband ran away and had an affair when I was pregnant with my second child. Three years on and I've heard it happens to lots of women. I don't know why men do this - fear of responsibility, selfishness, immaturity. Who knows. But ultimately they run away because they can.
