We recently had our cable company come out and install digital phone and high speed internet in my home. They were supposed to be installing digital cable at the same time also. When the tech came he installed the internet and phone using my cable line for my television and then announced he was leaving for his next stop. My husband and I ask about our digital cable and he said he didn't realize it was on the work order and he didn't have the equipment. Now we have no cable in our living room. Our only option is to take our children to a bedroom to watch TV. When I called them the same day they said someone would call me back. They set an appointment for 8 days later. This all happened on 12/5 and I went into the local office on 12/8 because no one had ever called back. What would you do to resolve this?

I'd find another company! There's more than one option out there, and when they call you back tell them you want free channels and extra stuff or else! Or else what!?! Or else you're going to sign up for the Dish Network or Direct TV instead!

Thanks for your response. They finally came out and installed the digital cable and phone. I called them everyday complaining until they finally came. We will be moving soon and we will have to get a dish then. I can't wait to take all the boxes back to them and tell them exactly what they can do with them : )

haha! I'm not sure where you're moving, but Time Warner Cable is really cheap. You can get a digital phone and a DSL line all on one bill. That's what I use now and I have no complaints!

I agree that Time Warner is cheap. I have the digital phone, internet and digital cable. The area I am moving to does not have access to Time Warner. It is too far out in the country. The cable stops around 1 mile before the area I am moving to.

Thank you for responding. There are no other cable companies in my area unless I would go with a satellite company. They have finally got everything installed.

Thanks for responding. I gave them a day to call me back and after that I called them everyday. I even went to the local office and to ask them if they return phone calls. They finally came and installed the cable but they sent 3 vans. There were 5 technicians at my house while they were installing it. My husband said it was because I was so nasty to them over the phone....LOL
