Vatican city is the smallest country in the World established in 1928. Situated on the vatican mountain in rome, its having its own boundaries and is having area about 110 acres and is with very small population less than a thousand and pope as the head of the country, who governs the country. This country does have its own National flag, National Anthem, own postal system and even own currency too. Vatican city is having very good museums which are with very interesting antiques !

it is Vatican City
smallest state, the Vatican has a population of 770, none of whom are permanent residents. The tiny country which surrounds St. Peter's Basilica is the spiritual center for the world's Roman Catholics (over 1 billion strong). Also known as the Holy See, Vatican City is surrounded by Rome, Italy.

Is the Vatican City, but that is a particular kind of state, it is nothing more that the residence of the Pope. It is not a real Nation because it has not a real population. All the people who lives there is born somewhere else.

The Vatican City, the headquarters of the Roman Catholic Church, is the world's smallest country. Located entirely within the city of Rome, Italy, the Vatican City (also known as the Holy See) is 0.2 square miles (0.44 km2) in area.
