I'm a SAHM. I have 4 kids. They are a 6 year old girl, a 5 year old boy (his birthday was yesterday), another girl that will be 4 in about 5 weeks and a little girl that will be 6 months old later this week. They keep me busy and I'm tired most of the time. I like it better then working but I have no time to myself or for me and my husband. The kids are always around and I never seem to get anything done.

work at home moms are boring? why on earth do u come to this conclusion. i'm a WAHM. i make cloth diapers...yea sounds exciting right :) i sew and i cut and my son loves to get into all the fabric with me. we spend lotsa time together playing and i do my best to get at least a little work done while he's clinging to me. tho i wouldn't have it any other way and i hate to think of myself as boring. ok so this post doesn't have alot of conversation in it but that doesn't make the people boring. being a WAHM takes alot of discipline.
being a SAHM takes alot of patience...so discipline and patience are key to success in either case.

I'm not, nor do I have kids, although growing up with a Mum that stayed at home was fantastic, I can't imagine it to be any other way, I appreciate it immensely.

I joined something called Stuff-A-Friend, Its totally free to join, no quotas or anything, its kind of like Build a bear workshop, except they sell kits you can do at home, they have over 40 different un-stuffed animal kits, purses, dolls, even fulk birthday party kits.
If you want to know more you can check out my site and read the faqs on becoming a rep. Its pretty neat, I really enjoy doing it.
my website is

This isnt a scam, you really can make some extra money off of this with some effort put into it.

I`m a stay-at-home mom with my 2-year-old daughter Karissa Angel. I feel very blessed to be able to stay at home with her everyday and watch her grow. I don`t trust the daycares out here (I live in FL). How old are your children?

My wife would love to be a stay at home mom, but we can not afford for her to not have income coming in. Anyone know any good work from home type programs that can bring in a little extra money? My wife would love to do that and be able to stay at home with our 1 year old.

sorry took me so long to get back with you this sort of got lost in all the posts lol, there is one at workathomeagent.com and the one i just started with is liveops.com i did have pay 30.00 for the live ops one for my credit and background check , then once they got my paper work i sent them in the mail and my ck i started with the testing. live ops is earier that the waha though testing and u can take the tests til u pass but with waha u only have 2 times to take them and if u fail u have to wait 6 mths til u can try again. I am just getting started and so far i like it, i have to of course take the 25 calls that they require before u can schedule what slots u want to work and they are 30 min slots. if she has any questions just message me and i will answer what i can thanks

no...where can she get info about being a virtual assistant. That acually sounds perfect for what she is expecting to be able to do at home and she would have all the tools (PC, high speed connection, phone ect...) that she would need to do that kind of work. She is a manager of marketing at an engineering firm right now, so she could handle that type of work as well.
Any info you might have would be great...thanks for responding.

I am a SAHM/WAHM of 3 and it is a big job. I am really greatful for that fact that not everyone can be able to stay home with their kids but I can. But sometimes I just need adult conversations that is why I started my own business, it helps be take a break once in a while.Plus I get to bring extra income into the home.

I am a stay at home mom with a 19 yr old son, Three Daughters, (2)@ 15 years old and (1) 9 yr old. My days are full, even when they are gone to school. There isn't time for myself unless they all leave on the weekend. Which I am still waiting on that day.

I stay at home with my 2 year old I'd like to work but there are more cons than pros. When she goes to school it might be a little more logical.

I am a stay at home mom for about a year. I was a working mom until my husbands job got us transfered to another state. It would be quite a drive to work now. We are in the middle of nowhere lol.

Hello, posting my very first comment on myLot! I'm a SAHM to a 9 and 3 year old. Enjoying a couple hours of peace and quiet with the youngest in preschool now! weee! I'm also looking for a work at home job which is a time consuming process to find the right fit for me. Take care.

I don't know how you handle your own and then add more by babysitting. You must be really laid back & calm. I could not do it.
