Ouch for the sprained ankle. Repeated sprains can eventually cause permanent damage to the tendons. They can stretch a tiny bit to a certain extent but after that its pretty much lax from then on out...

I've had several injuries unfortunately. I have injured my groin muscles , had shin splints and a pulled hamstring. The thing about sports injuries is you never know how important every muscle is until you injury it.

You can def back me on this one: The treatment for shin splints (the ice baths) HURT WORSE THAN SHIN SPLINTS DO! What its the deal with that?!?!

I've heard several people mention cricket in thier posts. Its not something real popular here in the 'states so we know like next to nothing about it...

I've been pretty lucky in sports, rarely injured myself beyond the odd strain.
