At what age did your child beginning to get teeth?

My baby is 6 months, he'll be 7 months on the 22nd of dec. The other day I discovered his first tooth, and not even two days later discovered the one beside that had poked through. He was born 7 weeks early, so adjusted he's not almost 7 months old. I didn't think they got teeth until they we're like 9-10 months. Anyone else experience early teething?
