I still use both on my TV plus all the TVs in my home except for in the kitchen and guestroom include both formats.
I mainly have the VCRs to record especially since I still don't trust DVD recorders and my parents have a hard time using the VCR to record at times so image a DVD.

My DVD is still a virgin although I have had it now for longer than 8 months.
Maybe I should try it before the warranty runs out?

Our's is a combination VCR/DVD but I find that we view the DVD's more often. We are in the process of changing all our family Videos into the DVD format. They save better and we dont want to loose the memories of our children's birth, childhood or marriages. We still have alot of VHS's that we no longer view.
