AD/HD...something U should know if your child has it

Many many children are diagnosed with AD/HD -and later as they grow more diagnosis are added with it-if this is the case for you and your child-a good idea is to take them to a neuroligist! There is a possibility they could have a form of Autisim. How do I know this-not only did it happen with my child-but many many others. I was also the information specialist for an autisim foundation for a while-and everyone I spoke to-had the same experience. Just remember-it IS better to know-as the sooner you know-the sooner you can help them with there true needs. Blessings, Kelli

I don't have any children yet, but I hope to one day. ADHD didn't exist when I was younger, I think that it is probably highly exagerated.

I was told my son was ADHD at the age of 3. I know he was always a handful, but now he is almost 10 and after years of medication I finally took him off of it. He does much better and seems to be a normal kid. They really do throw that around too much, it's sad to see a child misdiagnosed. ps I went to NRCC too! Live in floyd now.
