Have you signed your organ donation card? If not, why not?

I was just watching a news story where a baby in Toronto was saved with a bowel and liver transplant. Thanks to the selflessness of another family who lost a child, another baby was given a new lease on life. I have signed my organ donation card, and let my family know my wishes. Why don't more people do this, and save lives?

I have signed my card and let my family know of my wishes. I think it is the best gift you can give someone. My mother in law got a kidney transplant and was able to stop dialysis. Ever since then, I signed my card. Even if there is nothing viable, they can still check.

When my father passed away his organs were donated and who knows how many lifes were saved. I have signed my organ donation card since when I die I will no longer need them and someone elses life may go on. Give someone another chance at life when you die and donate your organs? Who knows, maybe one of these days you will be in need of someones organs to live!
