Have you ever been to Mt. Rainier in WA state?

I grew up in Washington state and could see the mountian from home. It was beautiful. On family outings we would sometimes drive up there and see it up close. What a sight! Have you ever seen it or been there?

I live in Seattle, I have been to Mt. Ranier several times. Not too high though. People die up there every year.

Yeah they do die...but its beautiful up there!!! They have a good reason for going! I miss it sooo much! I was born and raised in Tacoma. I've been gone about 6 years now and miss it dearly!

I've never actually been to Mt. Rainier... yet, but I've seen it and it's a wonderful sight to see. I think it's amazing. Unfortunately, I don't have any pics of it.:( The Space Needle's just gonna have to do.

Haha yeah I have plenty of pix of it but not on the computer...in photo albums or hanging on the wall. I think its the worst part of living in cali right now. Not being able to walk outside and see the mountain! Where I grew up you could see it right out side!

Oh we go there all the time. In the summer we go camping up at Rainer and it is just great for the kids. During the winter months we go there for the sledding but could not this year. The Mt is closed and will not be opened back up till April cause of all the wonderful storms and rain we get.

I spent two years living in Mineral Wa. which is about ten minutes from the front gate. I loved waking up in the morning and seeing it. I got to climb it while I lived there too. Wow, you should see the view from the top!
