That ONE song

What is that ONE song, regardless if it is a current one or an all-time favorite, that brings up memories and emotions? Right now, I'm digging Corinne Bailey Rae's Trouble Sleeping. I first heard it when I was studying in UK before the single was released. It was love at first sight, and it will fondly remind me of the times I spent in the hostel, with friends, studying for exams, doing my assignments, and yes... trying to fall asleep too due to time difference. How apt. Trouble sleeping indeed, on repeat mode. It's late and I'm feeling so tired Having trouble sleeping This constant compromise Between thinking and breathing Could it be I'm suffering Because I'll never give in Won't say that I'm falling in love Tell me I don't see myself Couldn't I blame something else Don't say I'm falling in love Some kind of therapy Is all I need Please believe me Some instant remedy That can cure me completely

Hi! There are a few of them for me, actually several, but I'm just name a few. Even Now by Barry Manilow, That Old Song by Ray Parker, Jr., and How do I Live by LeeAnn Rimes. I've been interested in getting Corinne Bailey Rae's album. Is it all as good as what I've heard on the radio?

honestly when i went through the album, only trouble sleeping and put the records on appealed to me. perhaps there is this other track that's not bad too but in general, it is quite good for easy listening. i guess it is sorta my 'type' of music too... haha barry manilow.. i still dig copacabana somehow.. *L*

For me the song of all time is - THE FINAL COUNTDOWN by EUROPE. this is the song which make me go crazy whenever, whereever i hear this. here goes the lyrics The Final Countdown Europe We're leaving together But still it's farewell And maybe we'll come back To earth, who can tell I guess there is no one to blame We're leaving ground (leaving ground) Will things ever be the same again It's the final countdown... The final countdown Ooh oh We're heading for Venus (Venus) And still we stand tall Cause maybe they've seen us And welcome us all (yeah) With so many light years to go And things to be found (to be found) I'm sure that we'll all miss her so It's the final countdown... The final countdown The final countdown (the final countdown) Ooh ooh oh (interlude) The final countdown Ooh oh I'ts the final countdown The final countdown The final countdown (the final countdown) Ooh It's the final countdown We are leaving together The final countdown

If I had to pick just one, I think I'd go with the theme song for Phantom of The Opera because when I was young, my father would always play it in the car and we'd sing along to it...Except for the screaming part at the end of course lol..

perfect proposal - perfect proposal is a reggae son. i really love listening to this one.it makes me think up about my past...lol!
perfect proposal by wayne wonder This is for my baby.. will you marry me by your side ill be (pretty lady) Will you marry me (will you) by your side i'll be. I think it's time to be a host to my baby, i think it's time make a toast to my baby, i think it's time to just propose to my lady, will you marry me?[2x] Your truly the best,a bless, the greatest girl i know, you made my life worth living, baby and it shows. I want to have you closer to me, to feel happly home. i want to promise that i'll never leave you alone. For one thing i'm really sure for you my love has no end. And nothing in this world can separate us, So until then Not a day go by that I don't think of you. Sitting here contemplating will my dreams come true. No one is perfect in life, but you're so perfect for me. I can't describe how your love sets me free. My life won't be okay until you're by my side. Without you i'd be empty, so be my bride! Will you marry me? By your side i'll be. Will you marry me? By your side i'll be! For one thing i'm really sure for you my love has no end. And nothing in this world can separate us, So until then

That ONE song... It's not current or an all-time favorite, for sure. And it's certainly NOT my type of music overall. But I would have to say Larry Graham, One in a Million You. I heard it in a country-western bar when I was about 18 yrs. old, and always said that it would be my wedding song when I got married. The getting married never happened, probably because I never found the one-in-a-million!!! Larry Graham - One In A Million You Lyrics Love had played its games on me so long I started to believe I'd never find anyone Doubt had tried to convince me to give in, said, "You can't win" But one day the sun came a shinin· through The rain had stopped and the skies were blue And oh, what a revelation to see Someone was saying "I love you" to me A one in a million chance of a lifetime And life showed compassion And sent to me a stroke of love called "You" A one in a million you I was a lonely man with empty arms to fill Then I found a piece of happiness to call my own And life is worth livin·again For to love you to me is to live A one in a million chance of a lifetime And life showed compassion And sent to me a stroke of love called "You" A one in a million you A one in a million chance of a lifetime And life showed compassion And sent to me a stroke of love called "You" One in a million you A one in a million you I'll have to look for Trouble Sleeping.
