Your animal in the house.. Just a pet? or part of your family?

I really don't like the way some people treat their animals. If you've committed to having an animal, in my opinion you are adopting another person into your family. People who just leave their dogs outside all day in the cold, really get to me, or even a cat. o.k. it might be an outside cat, but geez.... it's cold out there this time of year. Even in the summer heat, or anytime of year. Did you get that animal to just leave them to tend to themselves. What about affection people? Love and Care, you know TLC? Dog House you say?, Yeah right!.. like it's heated for Darn sake and turns into a sauna in the summer. What do you think? Am I crazy for thinking this way? Come people, would you treat your son or daughter that way? Animals have feelings too, right?

We adpoted 2 adorable kittens and they are totally apart of the family. This christmas the kids are making shure that the kittens get presents too, and I know they are going to want to hold a birthday party for them next year since we know the day they were born. Actually Alexis is not even letting me type this response because she keeps requesting my attention. LOL I love my kittens. They are so sweet and adorable. Below you will see a pic of Alexis, who wont let me type right now.

I grew up with pets, and they have always been a part of the family. My cat is an indoor cat, very spoiled, and very loved. He is definitely my "son". People who are not animal lovers would not understand, but the love for an animal is very strong. My cat sleeps with me- in fact he's in on the electric blanket right now, waiting for me to get away from the computer.

I agree with you 100%! If you could see all of the animals I have cause they didn't have homes you would laugh. Just for starters this is what I have, MANY FISH, 4 DOGS, 13 CATS, 1 LIZARD, 1 BIRD, 3 RABBITS(I just gave 2 away), 2 ferrets(1 is pregnant), so yeah, I know what you are saying! My neighbor has a bad habit of calling ME everytime she can't find a home for these animals. Of course she knows I will take them in and do what I can with them, they then becomes my other children, they eat with us, and sleep with us. Well not all at once, but you know what I mean. I love all of my kids, but if there comes a day that I can find some of them new homes, then so be it. Everyone that takes an animals from my home is ALWAYS told that if they no longer want the animal or no longer can take care of the animal, PLZ BRING EM BACK TO ME! They are my kids! I will always have an open door for them!

Our animals are part of our family. They are still my babies even though I have an 8 month old. My family would not be complete if they were not in my life. I understand how you feel. It drives me crazy the way some people mistreat their animals.

i have both a cat and a dog and they are integral members of our family, my wife buys them christmas presents. My dog, a four year old labrador called Nero came from a rescue home and we have had great fun getting him used to living in our home but they certainly add to our life

My pets are a big part of my life. I have a lot of animals, but my favorite ones are my dogs, cats, and horses. My one cat is called my houseboy because he stays inside all day. My 3 dogs are with me all day as well. My horses have to stay outside, but have a barn to get out of the weather. I would be lost without my animals.

I've seen so many people who love to keep pets but never know how to treat them properly.
I have a one year old dog and he is treated absolutely like a family member.
he gets so much of attention and affection from all my family members. says he's in the house there hasn't been a single location when you has been left alone in the house there is always somebody will stay back to make sure that he faces no problem.

I know. I am very attached to my cats. I feel bad when both my husband and I have to go somewhere for a couple of hours. They are so use to me being around them day and night. I dont know why people even get these poor animals and just leave them. They just dont care. I think you should have to go through something like you do when you adopt.

Animals have feelings just like you. If you give them love and respect then they will give you love and respect back, just like a child.

All our pets are part of the family. My parents dog even has his own chair at the table. He isn't allowed any table scraps because he has a very sensitive stomache he just likes to sit there as part of the family! It is so cute. I love all our dogs to pieces and cant imagine leaving them out in the cold! :( Poor babies. I can't stand watching the animal cops show because of the way some of these pets are treated. I just can't believe it!

You're right. Everyone in my family loves dogs. We have three dogs in the house now, and they're all pampered. I myself bathe these dogs regularly, and they get to sleep in our bed. That's why my heart breaks every time I hear my neighbor kicking their dogs for no reason at all...

Then dont respond. All you care about is the money. Stop being greedy and have a heart and answer discussions that require more than a few words you looser.
