Does men prefer older women?

I don't think so, from what I've seen it's actually the other way around, I think women prefer older men. Maybe recently it's becoming a new trend.

For some reason yes! (only 22 myself though, not a guy either!) I just watched a show where they take ill-dressed women, usually alittle overweight but nothing serious and re-dress them to suit themselves, well the episode was based on women who had young men aged 20-ish, and the men weren't 'ugly' they were all attractive well fit men! I'd like to undertstand it from man's side as I don't think I could go out with a 50-60-40 year old guy.

I'm 44 and I have had younger men interested in me although I've never been involved with anyone significantly younger than me. A couple of my friends are in long term relationships with men who are much younger - at least ten years younger - and it seems to work ok. I think the attraction may be that as a woman gets older she has more confidence, is more assertive, more independent and I think some younger men do find that attractive. However, I would say that for that kind of relationship to work the man also has to be secure in himself too. I also think the reason some older men go after much younger women is because they find younger women easier to cope with. These are generalisations of course - there's exceptions to every rule - but I do think women get more "challenging" as they get older. I certainly have - I could scream when I think about some of the crap I put up with from men when I was younger!

it dependson the age of the male..if he is younger he seem to fancy a bit older females and if he is 25-35 yr old one he may fancy younger gals

no it varies from man to man.. u cant generalise such things about men or women .. and if u wanna go on statistics .. then let me tell u .. its much more rare to to find a a younger guy with a woman than vice versa

I think ae is not the main factor in this case? it fully depends on the capability of the woman.can she make it or not with in a certain limit.

i feel it's a phase that many guys go through...actually more of a fantasy that most outgrow..

I wouldn`t say I prefer... but I wouldn`t mind... age doesn`t matter to me... all my relationships so far have been with older women!!!

My husband is 4 years younger than me. :) he says hes always liked women older than him. He only dated one girl his age before he met me.

of course men does not prefer older women for long relationship... but sure older woman will love to do it for a younger guy
