Is Mumbai turning into an EsselWorld??

As I transverse through the city, I see the number of road blocks, pot holes, under construction flyovers and dug up roads and wonder what is going on? If I were to travel from one point of the city to another, it seems that I am going up and down a whole lot of flyovers. Flyovers being build left right and center. If there is a pot hole the government would prefer to build a flyover over it rather than repair the road. I get sick travelling over the rollercoaster tpye ride over the city. Got your views/opinions to rant or rave about the flyover phenomenon in the city? Do respond back
