I think its wise, because it helps your family with your "final expenses" and hopefully and debt you leave behind. My husband is in the military, so we both automatically have coverage, him more since, let's face it, he's more likely to die. We need to get him a new career...

GardenGerty is right. If you have no dependent, you do not need life insurance. Medical insurance is more important because hospitalisation and medical fee is very expensive nowadays

If you have no debt, and no children, and no one depending on you financially, and enough money saved to bury you (around $10,000) you do not need life insurance. Check into your work benefit package, your employer may have 10,000-30,000 insurance bene for you. If you have enough money saved, your premiums that you would normally pay for insurance might be better as an investment that you manage.

I think Life Insurance is must for everyone. It's can safe you and you family.
