negative eugenics, is it the answer?

Eugenics is any measure taken to improve human traits. Termination of pregnancy when a foetus is suffering from a congenetal defect is also a form of eugenics.Parental counselling done so that their children are not colour blind is another instance. The science of eugenics need not always be negetive(the adolf hitler version).Infact, until Hitler started using this word , it was a respected science and the course of eugenics was offered in many universities in europe. Today eugenics exists in the form of genetic counselling, genetic engeneering etc,only it is not called that. Ofcourse ,the hitler form of eugenics is wrong and should be condemned.
