Would you kill in self defense?

I would kill for my children. I think becuase of them I would also kill in self defense. I am almost all they have & I would not be able to just roll over & let someone take me from them.

If it was a kill or be killed situation I think I would kill the other person. Plus they may do it to someone else so you may be saving another person's life in the long run..:)

I dont like to kill a human being too, but if my life is in jeopardy...someone is ready to kill me? ...why not!

I do not belive that anyone can answer this question coz noone knows how they will react when their life is in danger, or someone they love. All people react different and some people just go by instinct. If i had to give a choise though i would say yes - i could kill in self defense. to defend me or the ones i love!

When it comes to surviving, I'll do anything.After all, nothing is more precious thanlife.

I think that some of the most peaceful people have committed self-defense killings when the "had to", I wouldn't be welling to do so but if you have to you have to.. it will be hard to get over it afterwards but I guess you can't feel guilt for something that wasn't your fault, it's not right to lay down and let someone slaughter you like a lamb, we have to fight back and defend ourselves and our loved ones..

I don't know if I could kill anyone threating my life. I guess I would have to actually be in that situation to find out how I would truly react. I know I would try to hurt them as much as I could to get away; I would fight like crazy and pray that I could get away.

I would I believe that God allows us to defend our lives and Our Families. I dont think though that we should be offensive in that defense. We should only take what action is necessary for that defense not kill preemptively.

i'm not really sure....i have not really been in situation like that...i will say no now, but what if i can when im in that situation? i might do it...hmm...but i'm sure that if ever they threaten my families and loved ones, i will not hesitate to kill to protect them.

I will say no killing,if I know the martial art, I just protect ourselves by self-defence or every way. If I can't win, I must try to escape from the worse situation by using tools(chairs,wood,..) around me to confuse the opposite part if I don't know the martial art well

Yes,I would kill if my life is threatened,though it will be my last option.The law as far as I know doesn't convict you for murder and even if it does it lets you off lightly.So,even the judiciary believes in self-defense everything is good. In our Hindu holy scripture the Bhagvad Gita,it says that one must do that which is right for the greater good in order for the cosmic balance to be maintained.So,I feel when it comes to self-defense you might have to kill as the last resort.
