how effective is the use of psychology in rearing children?

compared to the older generations, we have more access now to better guidance through psychology as far as rearing kids is concerned. but can we honestly say that we are rearing better kids than those of our parents and grandparents?

Children of this generation have better I.Q. than the previous because of various factors. One amont them is they are exposed to various technological innovations. They observe and learn fast. It is very essential to read the psychology of children. To do so, one should read the general psychology books pertaining to children. May be 80 to 90% of problems of children can be solved if one has knowledge of psychology. Knowledge of psychology helps you know in advance the tactful movements of children and you are always prepared and you can tackle it tactfully. Once the children come to know that you know how to handle them, they do not wag their tails much. They are indeed clever.
