Can I refer someone from the same house?

Hello,
I am thinking of referring my wife. Of course we are in the same house, using the same ISP, connecting through a router. I'm guessing it will look as if we are two accounts under one IP, thus looking like someone that referred themself. Does that make sense? Also, I was thinking of referring someone I work with, and would have the same problem. So can I refer these people, or am I risking looking like I am creating accounts under myslef?
I sent a message to myLot 6 days ago asking about this, but have not had a response from them yet. From what I read around here and from my own experience, myLot isn't all that responsive to the members here.
Thanks,
Jim

thats a very valid question...
but i dont think mylot lets you do that. i mean referring your wife or anyone else from your family shouldnt be a problem, but having the same IP addres might be an issue

but, come to think of it, since you get 25% of the money earned by the person you referred, mylot shouldnt have any problem of people creating dummy IDs and referring themselves... coz until and unless they actively participate in all the IDs, they cant make money
and i dont think anyone here is so dumb to try earning (100% + 25%) when he could have earned (200%) directly!!!

Well technically, if someone had lets say two PayPal accounts, they could create two accounts here at myLot. If they were active with both myLot accounts, they'd earn 100% for each acount, plus 25% for their direct referral, so 225%. Personally it seems like way too much work for a few bucks, and I can understand why they wouldn't want that. But in my case, this would be two legitimate accounts, only it might not appear that way. Does anyone have any experience with referring a household member? Did you have any issues?
Thanks,
Jim
