stuck in stage 4-1

Hi all,I have reached upto stage 4-1 where a giant monster freakin comes from nowhere and we have to dodge him.I can get to the lift but he still comes there and kills me.I have almost tried all possible weapons like backtail,shotgun,rifle,hand granades but still he doesn't die.
Please help me....!!!!!Thanks.

If i am correct then you will find a Rocket Launcher(in some glass case)before you get to meet Verdugo and like mentioned earlier the easiest way to kill him is to freeze him and go for a one shot kill. Otherwise it gets really hard to kill the guy with plain fire power. When he gets frozen, that is when you have to unleash your fury.

You've got to have some extra money for this tactic:
1. Purchase a Rocket Launcher from the merchant after surviving Salazar's trap. Climb the ladder & move on.
2. Immediately head towards the last room where you can find the power activation switch for the lift, while evading Verdugo's sudden attacks.
3. After activating the switch, at that same room just circle around the generator so you can evade Verdugo's attacks since you will not be able to get out of that room.
4. Wait for Verdugo to come down from the ceiling, then immediately head to the nearest Nitrogen canister, topple it down in order to freeze Verdugo.
5. Once frozen, move away, equip your rocket launcher, & do the instant 1-hit kill.

Are you talking about that thing that looks like an Alien..you've probably already beaten this part but if not there are tanks that you can knock over to freeze him and then shoot him..or run away. If you make it to the lift then make sure you knock over the liquid nitrogen tank and you can probably escape.
