Silent Hill 5

Has anyone heard of the makings of silent hill 5? I understand it to be on hold untill they decide which new system to release in for. that pisses me off though as I think they need to stick with Playstation as always.. Just like the oddworld series was split when they came out with Xbox and put the new game with that system.. BOOOOO

I thought Sony had the sole rights to the Silent Hill franchise? I had heard it was in development for the PS3. It was listed on their Upcoming Games lists. I hadn't heard that Konami was looking at other systems to release it for. Huh.
I actually sort of hope it comes out for one of the other systems, in that case. I'm not shelling out 700$ for a PS3 and then 75-90$ a game. I've got the 360 and I'm getting a Wii. Man, Silent Hill on a Wii would be awesome....

it would be scary on the Wii as maybe you would have to actually stand and aim in the dark. Turn the lights off and freak out. LOL I would rather sit cause I wouldnt be such a chicken ... No I would be a chicken all huddled up in my chair. You are braver than I.

Oh man, and what if they made a radio attachmet? A little thing you could hook to yourself that the static would come out of? That would be awesome!
The Wii could really get a following of Survival Horror fans if they went that route!
