noisy/vibration from the rear of polaris sportsman 700 2002 model

I noticed a significant growl or vibration on this atv,I know its comoing from the back but it seems to be more on the left side,sounds like the tire is rubbing on the plastic but I know its not.CV shaft looks ok but not positive about that.any info on what i should be looking for would be appreciated.
