i have an asthma too but they said that there is no permanent cure to it but it can be avoided. to avoid those really bad asthmatic attack, just be healthy, avoid those food and stuff that makes you allergic, take your vitamins, drink milk everyday and don't overwork.

yes, asthma can be cured esp. with children, it is treatable. However, some children have asthma and recover as they become adults. Often, asthma is an allergic response. The best thing to do is to seek advice and treatment options from an MD or respiratory specialist 'cus this is still a case to case basis, some is allergy, others are hereditary, others are just being not cautious.

Here i put Asthma Story and hopefully stimulate thought and hope for those with Asthma.
At the age of 30, I contracted severe Asthma and came close to dying from an asthma attack in 1995 when a near fatal asthma attack put me into full respiratory and cardiac arrest ! A neighbor took this picture while paramedics performed CPR on me on my front porch.
After this close call, I decided to try and reclaim my life and fight this terrible disease despite the claim from the medical community that asthma is incurable. My story is proof that extremely severe asthma can be cured.
A friend of ours who is a pharmacist then found fascinating new research by Dr. David Hahn in medical journals about the bacteria Chlamydia pneumoniae (and mycoplasma) and the interesting link it has to being a possible cause of asthma. These studies indicate this research may be of benefit to 50% or more of adults and children diagnosed with asthma.
I am not a doctor and do not offer medical advice here. I also don't sell anything on this website. This is only a place for me to share the steps I took to become completely cured of asthma. Now that my asthma is cured, I hiked hundreds of miles of rugged terrain on the Appalachian trail (AT) May of 2002 and May of 2005. And I hiked/waded/slogged through 40 miles of everglade swamps on the Florida Trail (FT).
Most important.... I did these hikes with no inhalers, no medicines and best of all, no asthma.
I hope this story can help you to heal asthma

I hope so. I have a light case of asthma. I just have to use an inhaler when I exercise. but, I'm lucky. I know there are lots of people with serious cases of asthma.

This is a good question. As i am into medical profession i can tell and give u some adivice.
Asthama is not a cureable but u can prevent it. There are many factors which trigger asthama they r example dust, pollens, cold, few food items ,ect. first thing what any one should do is they should try finding out the triggering factors and then they should prevent themself from that factors.this will prevent your 90% of the disease.
Then one thing what u should do is u should increase ur vital capacity of lung(air volume of lung)that can be done by breathing excerise.
one more thing is if ur known astmatic then u should carry ur medicine with u allways . and i think most of them will be using inhailares they r very use full . dont dealy using medicine when ur attack starts . more u wait the more worst it becomes .
