why is it that mostly women stay in a relationship even it hurts them so much?

It is a combination of love and bond. Woman is always building big bond with man in any relationship. Woman is also naive, thinking that man can change.

I think because women are attached more emotionaly with their partners therefore they prefer to stay in a relationship even if it hurts them so much...............

Fear could be the main most people stay in relationships that are clear failures. It could be fear of a change in life(getting used to being around the person). Also, it could be the fear of what the person may do if they end the relationship.
