I have a Dish Network satelite dish on my rooftop, and we own receivers from having this service a few years ago. We live in a very rural area, and do not subscribe to any Satelite service at this time and Time Warner Cable is not available in our area, and money is pretty tight right now. My question is: Can we use our satelite dish and or receivers to boost our indoor antenna signals for our local channels. We have the regular "rabbit ears" on two of our televisions, and have a hard time getting in a lot of channels.......honestly speaking my hubby is having a fit because he cant get a clear picture (I understand that may be impossible using rabbit ears, we expect alot of fuzz) to watch the Browns and Cavs games if the channel even comes in at all. I'm just curious if even though we dont have service through them if having a receiver hooked up would still bounce some local signals our way a little better? If you have any ideas, suggestions or useful knowledge it would be greatly appreciated, as one more Sunday of watching the NFL games as it is may put him in an early grave!!! LOL. Thanks!

If you have a cable attachment on the back of your Tv this
would be very inexpensive try either speaker wire around a
ten foot piece or so.Put one end of the speaker wire into
that cable attachment and string the rest up,you should be
able to get a better reception.
