Are you obligated by your church?

Are you obligated by your church to give a sum of money for a period time? Like weekly, monthly, annually? How much? I've heard that some churches do that and I think this is outrageous! I've even heard that some churches requires people to submit their bank accounts to become a member of their church. And some even require you to give the church a portion of your monthly income (i.e. 10% of your income). Please comment on this!

I am not obligated by the Catholic although they seem to take up a lot of second collections for some missionary cause and the like. However, I have Mormon friends and they are obligated to pay, I think it is, 5% of the income yearly.

I've heard from a friend that Church of Christ is also doing this, but instead they are getting 10% of the monthly income of the person.

yes i heard about it, my church is not like that, and i think, they should not do that, what about one of their member is poor?.,.ahhh.. there's nothing i can say about this..
