Usually, I would just go for a warm shower. Then I will just sit there doing nothing. And then, I will have a good night sleep. You will be surprised at how effective this is. :P

Warm shower is relaxing sure. But my problem is i can fall asleep easily, specilly when i have tention over something. So sleeping is not my method.

I actually live in the country so there isn't much hustle and bustle around here. LOL But when I want some 'quiet time', I go into another room, read a book and perhaps listen to some classical music mostly. There is nothing better and as nobody else likes that type of music, I am usually left uninterrupted. LOL

I play piano sometimes, I just lay down on my bed and read books, listen to music, go outside and look at my puppies playing, water my flowers, I can relax from lot of things.

I like the ocean, it is big enough to be your sponge. But since I haven't been able to do that for a while, I just take in the scenery when I am driving.

My residence in located in the heart of the city, yet no noise from the street located in front of my house. After a busy work, I take some coffee and take a book and lie down on sofa and begin reading. No disturbance at all. My wife and son go for shopping/grocery purchase/veg. purchase etc. Absolute peace at home.

dont depend on drinks or smoke ..plz .. it just shows ur too damn weak .. close ur eyes take a deep breath and try to make ur mind BLANK .. thats meditation and it gives ur mind all the rest in the world .. if u r being stressed out then develop a habit to do 15-20 mins of yoga in the morning .. its more than enough to keep u healthy and active

I do yoga every morning and then I continue with some aerobic exercises which makes me feel really good and keep control over my nerves. I think when your day begins with early rise from bed and then these kind of workouts then there is no need of any thing which can give you relaxation as the key to relaxation is time you rise in the morning and then manage your time accordingly. Relaxation always happens with in your body. If you ever feel tense close your eyes and then focus on your breating you feel relaxed with in just couple of minutes. Try it and then let me know.
