i don't really wanna be stressed. i avoid it for as long as i can. because studies say it destroys your cells thus making you look old. hehehe. well, what i do when i'm in so much stress is that, i take in lots of water, i take my regular anti stress vitamins, i take lots of fruits and i try to have 8 hours of sleep per day. my system is working for me...

Good that it works for you dude. I am no advocate of medicines (i.e. pain relievers, stress relievers) I believe in the power of the body to heal itself with the right type of motivation and conditioning. I recently read at wikipedia that there are two types of stress. If you're experiencing stress but it enhances your bodily functions (mental and physical), this is called 'good' stress. The other kind of stress is when it is excess and leads to a need for resolution, anxiety and depression. here's the link if you want to know more. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stress_(medicine)

thanks!!! you've given me good thoughts on it. well, i am a pharmacist and i do take my anti stress vitamins everyday before going to bed. but i do believe that it's better to allow the body to heal itself as you say. i'm not just used to it.

stressed out - stressed out
i listen to my favorite songs. i think it's an effective therapy for me to put away all of my stress. i even sing even if it's out of tune! lol! i relax, lay back, and have some sleep. sleep is very important for our body to recharge so be assured that you have enough sleep in a day. the use or aromatherapy can also help relieve stress^^

music soothes the soul. it helps a lot, too. and yes... we love to sing even if we really can't sing. hehe. but it's one way to alleviate stress... and i haven't tried aromatherapy yet. i hope i will one day.

drink a lot of water, eat a lot, and sleep a lot. after that intense workout and the stress is gone.

more or less, we have the same system. it really works. then, wake up the following day with a smile because you'll know that you'll meet stress again at work. hehe.

Most of the time my stress is coming from being alone here at home when my other family member is busy in their school and work. So I release my stress by biking until I reach my cousin's house. I will stay there until afternoon and after having chat time with my cousins in other village I will go back to home and prepare dinner for my family. Sometimes I also drink lot of water and take some chocolate because I heard that chocolate can increase our happy hormones.

If you indeed did not want in tightened possibly you must learn to appreciate or love yourself yourself, in a sense your words should not be too hard in doing the work.

If I am stressed I listen to some good music, or watch a favorite TV show or go shopping which helps me to relieve my stress or sometimes I go for a long drive,it helps, always a change of environment is good.

I played arcade games to lessen my stress. I go to sleep, eat ice cream, tour my place riding my motorbike. During before I was in province, when I'm home from school, I go out back having joyride. I love the rush of the wind. I went to my bestfriend's house and we'd stay on the seaside eating ice cream while watching the sea and conversate with each other. I'm enjoying my friend's company. I took only 1 hour so that I'll be able to review my lessons for tomorrow's exam. Then when I'm home, I don't feel that studying is a stress anymore.
